3. Undercover Agents

3.1. We will place a highly trained undercover agent into an employers workforce.

3.2. The agent becomes he eyes and ears of the employer whilst posing as a

       normal worker

3.3. The agent gathers evidence at grassroots level, which often bypasses middle

       or senior management.

3.4. We will debrief the agent on a daily basis and provide management with         information pertaining to the following

• A profile of all dishonest employees.
• Their modus operandi
• If the security company is actively involved or are they just    incompetent.
• If higher management is also involved
• If criminal syndicates are operating in your business
• Whether there is collusion between employees and
   outside supplies/contractors.
• Provide management with a comprehensive profile of all security    loopholes and occupational health hazards so they can he  

   rectified,

 

4. Covert Video & Internal Telephone Monitoring is done in strict compliance with the      Regulation of Interception of Communications and Information Act 70 of 2002.

4.1. Our technical unit can install covert spy cameras with audio in normal

       everyday objects to cover areas where the criminal activity occurs.

4.2. We can also enable management to discreetly monitor all internal telephone        lines over which criminal activities are discussed.

5. Surveillance of Company reps and delivery vehicles

5.1. Our highly skilled surveillance team are able to follow company reps and              delivery vehicles whilst they are supposed to be carrying out your company’s        work.

5.2. We are able to discreetly tail them by vehicle or on foot.

5.3. We gather video/photographic evidence and compile detailed reports under        oath stating the places your employee visited, who they met and what they        did.

6. Comprehensive Employee Screening

6.1. Industrial Espionage and organized crime are a real threat, but most surveys        show that the most significant risk is from inside an organization such as        employees in key financial, production and distribution positions.

6.2. Any employee who has access to merges and acquisition data, trade secrets,         payroll information and business plans and contacts has to be         comprehensively and regularly screened.

6.3. Most Human Resource Departments use the telephone to screen an          employee which, to say the least is wholly inadequate.

6.4. In addition, most companies only screen the employee when they apply for         the  job. However, surveys have shown that it is more important to screen         an employee once he has settled into the job and learnt exactly how your         company   operates and where all the loopholes are.

6.5. Magnum’s screening process entails placing the employee under discreet         observation and reporting to management on the following:

• We physically call on every company that the employee worked for    and    conduct in depth interviews with management and former    co-workers.
• We discreetly visit his home and report on the     environment    where       he     lives and his standard of living.
• Investigate if there are known criminals amongst his family,    friends    and    associates.
• Determine whether he is in debt.
• Inquire if he has had any previous convictions or if there are    current    criminal charges pending against him.
• Determine whether he is living beyond his means such as driving a    flashy,    expensive car or lavishly spending money.

• Inquire if has a mistress.
• Inquire if he abuses alcohol or drugs.
• Use our date bases to inquire he owns or has an interest in other    businesses.
• Obtain his Bank records.
• Inquire if there are civil cases pending against him.
